If you buy BNf rc model, you will get a 2.4GHz DSM2 technology compatible receiver, notably from the Spektrum range, and a battery pack. I think you maybe think that the BNF rc model is just like RTF rc model too?...This is maybe the reliable answer: a BNF rc model is closer to an RTF one in terms of what you get in the box, you actually still need a DSM2 compatible transmitter to complete it.

I think this is the most important news, we know that a 2.4 transmitters are increasingly popular and more widely used, it is logical that more people are being attracted to aircraft BNF. Like a typical RC RTF model, there is plenty to do for the other model that some final assembly work and very link the receiver to your own transmitter. Once this is completed, usually a few seconds later, you're ready to go.

PNP mean Plug and play. There are many PNP rc airplanes now. Some people called it ad hybrid model, this mean the PNp rc airplanes are somewhere between RTF (Ready To Fly) and ARF (Almost Ready to Fly). So What actually PNP rc airplanes ?

If you buy PNP rc airplanes, in most case you will get some rc parts such as the motor, ESC if electric, and some of the radio gear installed but is missing the transmitter, receiver and motor battery pack (& charger). Actually it just like RTF rc airplanes, because it comes 99% assembled. So you still need to supply your own transmitter, receiver and battery pack.

Every rc model have a servo to make any movement, especially for your rc helicopters. This is because our rc models are controlled by servos Here are some simple explanations about servo : A servo is a device rotates a shaft to a position set by the user, and holds this position until further input is given. Servos usually consist of a small DC (direct current) electric motor, several gears, and a head where an arm or wheel can be attached. When the user tells the servo what angular position to move to, the servo rotates and holds position until further input is specified. Servos are designed to hold position because external forces are always interacting with the aircraft, and would set control surfaces to undesired positions unless stopped. Servos exert a torque on external forces, that prevents them from changing the position of any control surface.

RC Helicopter Servo Work
Here are a simple explanations in how servo work for your rc helicopter : A servo’s job is to convert the angular movement of a servo arm to the linear movement of a control surface. This is done by attaching linkages, called control rods to the servo arm and the associated control surface. When the servo head rotates, it pushes the control rod back and forth. The rod is linked to a control surface, and can move it up or down as the servo rotates.

Three wires control a RC helicopter servo: two to provide the DC electricity that the motor needs, and one that sends the signal, controlling the servo. The signal wire works by sending the servo a series of pulses, which are interpreted by it’s internal circuitry. By varying the timing of each pulse, the servo knows exactly which position to move to.

Balsa wood in very important matterial if you want to build radio controlled model. Some time maybe we call it balsa wood airplanes...beacuse the balsa wood are often used to build radio controlled airplanes(rc airplanes).Almost all rc model structure are build from balsa wood with some complement matterials, such as carbon fibre matterial and some people call it sandwiched. Why we choose balsa wood to build rc airplane?

As i know that Balsa wood is the lightest wood matterial in the world. The density of dry balsa wood ranges from 100–200 kg/m³, with a typical density of about 140 kg/m³ (about one third the density of other kinds of hard wood). What it would be if we build an rc airplanes model with haeavy matterial?
As we know that the light matterial will make our rc model more light and will be more stable in flight than heavy rc model one. More weight mean it need more power(rc engine) to make it fly.

RC Battery Tips

This is about rc battery.When the battery charge they will be hot temperatures, close to Untouchable.
Voltage when in charge, had approached 10V or even more (6 cells pack).
When in a state of discharge, mAh discharged far less than mAh battery itself.

How to care battery? Hmmm try asking to 5 people, will get 12 different answers hehehehe ..... yg
I personally:
[NiMH cell packs]
Charge at 5 amps max
discharge at 20 to 25 amps max
cut-off at 5.4 volts / .6 per cell
Place on tray equalizer (using brand trinity) until its LED lights off all.

If storage for long time ..
Charge at 3 amps up to 50% capacity

Usually when I'm off to play up to 1 year, every 2 months or so I always cycle battery packs they will be, at least 2 times a cycle at 6 amps, discharge at 30 amps and then the next tray up to 50% charge is then stored.

It is difficult maintenance batteries and very very time consuming. But that is part of our hobby.

The term in the treatment of battery:
IR - Internal Resistant (the term in the discharging state, where the higher the IR means worse battery that best quality).
Average Discharged Volt - is the average volts per cell when the discharge. The bigger, the better.
Discharge Amps - This is the actual (real) amps in the battery. But do not be fooled by the numbers, because the numbers associated with the discharge amps discharge in amps that use.
The greater the lower the discharge amps also milli amps that will be read by the charger.

To check the battery condition, the value of the discharge method is the most accurate.

During the late 1980's, a group of rc boat modelers, who were also engineers, started talking about the possibility of making a tool to accurately measure and document RC Engines. Was it possible to get rid of the inaccurate degree wheel?

Could they convert measurements into useful data, then apply the results to their engines?

They found that there were many complex formulas involved in solving these problems. After several years of development and refinement of the first Engine Analysis Software, the group developed the Engine Analysis Software. They used it continually and found it indispensable.
