The rc helicopter can fly, this is because the rc helicopter has pitch. Pitch is a term for the rotor blade angle. When the rotor turns, the lift is produced because of the angle of the helicopter blades. There are two common term related to pitch: fied pitch and collective pitch.
Fixed pitch - The rc helicopter blade is fixed at certain angle and then it will produce lift and controlled by the speed of the engine used. This will gains the lift as it in higher engine speed and on the contrary.
Collective pitch - The rc helicopter blade can be changed as the helicopter flight. This mean it is more flexible and more controllable pitch.
