YAK 54 Rc Airplanes is one of my favorite rc airplanes. Based on wikipedia The Yakovlev Yak-54 is a 1990s Russian aerobatic and sports competition aircraft designed by the Yakolev Aircraft Corporation. The Yak-54 is great for aerobatic flying, this rc planes have a good agility. In this article you will see some YAK 54 rc planes video.

Finally my new Yak 54 Big Electric Foamy has arrived. Nothing much to say, this thing is simply beauty. Check out the kit before assembly and the ready to fly plane after assembly.

Here is the 2nd Flight of Yak 54, big electric Foamy RC Plane. We tapped one Hex wrench lol onto nose to add some weight to the nose and balance the CG. It went very well. More videos from Dalang airport will be posted soon. This Sunday we plan to bring the colorful big baby out to public and see how many we can sell there hehehehe.

Have you doubt about what should you fly?
What should i fly either Rc airplanes or Rc helicopters?
Many beginner commonly have the same problem, they doubt about what shouls they
fly first. Then There are many choises about the model to choose. Maybe they have some problem with this again. Let me say, that we should fly the right model. If we talk about this case, maybe we can look this in the difficulty first. In general fly rc helicopters have more difficult than the rc airplanes. But they both are RC too, they must be controlled by using rc transmitter.
About the rc transmitter, commonly the rc helicopters have more channels than rc helicopters. The rc transmitter channel indicate about the complexity of control. For instance, if we have 3 channels , we can control the control surface like the fin(directional),rudder(up-down),throttle(power). These control surface have different way in how to control it. If we want to control the fin, we will control the directional axis, you can make the rc airplanes turn right or left, but if you control the rudder, your rc airplanes will turn up or down, but the up or down must control the trhottle together also. We need a sufficient power to make a turn like up and down.
If we talk about the choise of rc model, we are talk about the complexity of control as talk above. That There are more control surface in rc helicopters than rc airplanes. Some expert says that if you be able to control the rc helicopters so you do so in rc airplanes. Maybe they consider about the complexity of control too. The rc helicopters usually have more than 6 channels, but the rc airplanes have only 4-5 channels. From the channels uses, we just can say that that must be more difficult to control the rc helicopters.
As the beginner in rc model, they should determine about the rc class. They can choose either rc airplanes(fixed wings) class or rc helicopters(rotary wings). They both are good for beginner. The next steps is the model uses. Both rc fixed wing and rc helicopters are have a special model for beginner. In this case we don't talk about the control complexity between rc airplanes and rc helicopters because we have determined it before whether rc airplanes or rc helicopters.
The conclutions, actually there are no doubt about what rc model to fly first as beginner, either rc airplanes or rc helicopters. They both are rc too. The different are just about the control surface(channel uses). I suggest that you are confident with what your choose. Both rc airplanes and rc helicopters are have a beginner model, this model are good as the fisrt flight(maiden flight), so the model are not for the advanced flyer.

Beginner Become An Intermediate RC AIRPLANES Flyer The Easy Way !
Many people that flying rc model airplanes wants to be a good flyer in Intermediate flying. It's very important to know about how you can achieve that. As the beginner that like to flying rc airplanes, they must know how to fly in more better. There are three steps in RC airplanes flying maneuvers, there are basic flying,intermediate flying and advanced flying. But beside that there are 3D flying. But the intermediate flying is often in the rc championship. I think the 3D is where many people want to get more fun in rc airplanes flying.Back to the topic, that if you are a beginner and want to enhance your capability
to achieve more high level flying of rc airplanes, it's good to learn about intermediate flying. My advice is that before you enter the intermediate flying, it's very-very important that you are a good flyer in the basic maneuvers. That is one of the thing to consider. After you overcome this case, so you are welcome in intermediate flying. But why...the simply explanation about this is because in the intermediate flying, you must fly your rc airplanes in more difficult maneuvers, or in other word is you need more ability to control your rc airplanes. This all is just because you need to enhance your skills.
The next thing to know is about the rc model to choose. I suggest that you fly with electris rc airplanes model. One of the rc model is "The Wing Dragon Sportster 4 Channel". Have you ever fly The Wing Dragon model before?
As i know that the wing dragon model is very good model for a beginner as rc airplanes model trainer. There are some models in wing dragon electric rc airplanes, there are basic model (with 3 channel) and the sporter(with 4 channel). If you are a beginner so you must fly with the basic model, and if you an expert so you must use the sporter. Many rc flyer ever fly the wing dragon model and many rc airplanes pilot expert suggest this.If we look into the fuselage, it's made from plastic(made from advanced plastic not cheap polystyrene) and a fibre stick.
The fuselage is strong enough but light. So don't worry if you crash your rc. About the rc radio, the stick can control of ailerons, rudder, elevator and even proportional throttle control with servo included, all from the included 4 channel F.M. 2 stick radio with a super long 1500 foot range . The aerobatic capability like Inverted flight, rolls, loops, are all a piece of cake

RC Helicopters have protectors on the front of and it's called canopi. Each rc Helicopters must and should use canopi to protect some of the important part is in the rc Helicopters. The parts that are very important such as rc Helicopters Servo and receiver that has very important role in the world of rc and especially in rc Helicopters.The canopi is shaped oval that cover the front of rc Helicopters. The rc helicopters canopi are usually made of fiberglass material, the material was selected because this was easy and because it's lightweight but strong enough.
What if rc Helicopters do not use canopi? of course you can imagine yourself the result, one of which is fatal damage to the receiver and Servo because of dust when rc Helicopters fly. If the dust is entering the Servo when rc Helicopters flying, the dust will then make the servo movement doesn't smooth, anda even come to a standstill so make the rc Helicopters can not be controlled and eventually crash!
To get your rc Helicopters canopi is easy. You can choose the canopi size with the appropriate size with your rc Helicopters , besides you can also choose the color and painting to decorate canopi that will be installed on your Helicopters. About the price, you can get the price of $ 12, certainly cheap enough for your rc Helicopters.

If you want to fly your rc helicopters, you need to know more about your rc helicopter. Your own rc helicopters. There are some terms in rc helicopters, there are FP and CP,
here are the definitions Fixed pitch (FP) helicopter blades have blades that remain at a fixed angle (you can not alter their pitch). To get lift on these helicopters you must increase the power to the main blades. They are simpler in design, they are easier to fix when damaged, they are easier to set up and they are cheaper.
Collective pitch (CP) helicopters control lift through the angle of the blades, they have 3 servos instead of 2 (like the fixed pitch models) allowing you to alter blade pitch. This result in a more agile machine but it also means they are harder to repair and are more suited to an experienced flyer.
So, when you will buy a rc helicopters, there some rc model use the terms, such as HoneyBee CP2, but i don't know what mean by 2 in CP2. In o ther side, if you buy rc helicopters, or rc airplanes you usually find the rc in ARF or RTF. ARF stand for Almost Ready to Flight, so your rc helicopters still need such as rc engine (electric too) and rc radio. RTF stand for Ready to Flight, if you buy this kind of rc package, you only need to assembly the rc and prepare for some equipments to fly you rc, but you must know that what is your rc need fuels or not, if not this mean that your rc is electric rc, but in RTF or ARF model rc that still need engine(especially glow engine), you still need nitro as your fuels.

Here i will tell you some tips that you must consider about, i think my tips here is not enough for you, so i'm sorry.
If you have new rc airplanes, or you just buy rc airplanes in ARF, so you only need to make it in simple way. It's important to know whether your rc airplanes is in good conditions or not. Before you fly your new rc airplanes model, i suggest that you fly with flight model simulator(FMS), you can get it for free or puchased
You need to check you rc airplanes fuselage or the wing and the tail, make sure it all in good conditions.
Let's take a look about the radio, your radio or rc airplanes transmitter is the vital thing, without it you can't control your rc airplanes movement. You need to check the radio frequency to ensure that there are same other frequency with yours in your ranges and also make sure that your rc battery is in good condition with full charges before.
After that, if you used electric rc airplanes you need to check your motor condition but if you used glow engine please check your fuel, make sure that there no some thing that can make your engine dirt or close your engine ventury, your fuels must be clean. Before you fly your rc airplanes or your rc helicopters, especially in rc airplanes, you should run your rc airplanes in ground, you can do some taxy or any other, by doing that, you actually can make sure that your control from your rc stick is good enough for some action you want from your rc airplanes model.

Electric power can be used for any kind of flying gliders, aerobatics, even racing. It's an excellent choice for sport flying.

Electric power systems are heavier for a given power output. This means that rc airplanes must be built lighter, which may be more challenging (especially for the beginner). That's really the only significant disadvantage. The big advantages are that electrics are quiet and clean. They are also much less expensive and in my opinion, easier to get involved with. To me, there is nothing like electric flight. The biggest advantage of all is that electric flight is unusual and interesting.

No body wants to get crash in their rc airplanes. Have you some intuitive about where and how your rc airplanes will get crash?..
I think no body wants it. Get crash with your rc airplanes some times make some rc airplanes pilot get mad or angry or feel something that never and can't be express...
Just like another day, you flying your rc airplanes like usually,..check the battery,...fill enough fuels and check your rc radio frequency...
then you fly it...
But sometimes there are suddenly something wrong in your flight...you can't handle it...then it going to crash your rc airplanes. Maybe if know before, that you will get crash with your rc airplanes in that flight,..maybe you wouldn't fly in that day!
By writing this rc airplanes article...actually i can't tell much about this kind of rc accident. I just want to say that ..i'm sorry to hear that...
Maybe you will get more luck next time..keep to be patient and try to find what make this all going wrong.
